What are your thoughts? I think the new cover looks great! It will definitely get a lot of attention and have kids picking it up off the shelf to look at!
At the same time, I do like the hardcover design better. It looks older and more elegant, more like a book worthy of sitting on a shelf alongside gilded classics.
Plus, if you take off the dustjacket, you get a SECOND cover, which is like an extra treat!
I can see why it might not resonate with as many of today's kids, though, and think the new cover will bring more awareness to the title.
What are your thoughts? Which cover do you like the best?
