I'm in awe. Love that they've kept the theme of the Special Edition's cover :)
These covers have something that make me want to keep staring at them, they possibly are among the best-looking covers I've ever seen, and I'm not just saying it because I love the books.
Delirious Girls, what say you of this cover? Approved? Disapproved?

Marisa: Wow, this is gorgeous! I seriously LOVE it. And it's cool how it matches the special edition cover and all.... but I tend to wish they made one that matched the original cover. I'm a tad OCD like that.
Nevertheless, this is beautiful. Though I'm not surprised. The design team at HarperTeen always comes up with these breathtaking covers. I knew this book would be no different. Love it!
Lauren's thoughts on Delirium's new covers

When we posted Delirium's new covers, I just couldn't remember what colour Lena's eyes were. The new UK paperback cover's Lena's got blue eyes, while the Special Edition cover's Lena's eyes are brown. So, I thought I'd ask Lauren to clear any doubts.

Ella: I've noticed the big blue eyes on the new UK cover for Delirium. But, on the US Special Edition cover, the model's got brown eyes. Since I can't remember what colour are Lena's eyes, I thought I'd ask you.
What do you think of these new covers? Do you like them more than the original one? I'm in love with the Special Edition's cover. The girl's eye is so haunting!

Lauren: Yeah, it's funny... covers don't necessarily EXACTLY represent the main character accurately... I think they just need to reflect the book's sensibility. Lena does have brown eyes and brown hair, though. I LOVE the special edition cover, personally--I like it even better than the original!
I like it better than the original too!

Lauren's Books' Different Covers

Lauren's books are not only out in English. They're also published in Spanish and German, and it wouldn't surprise me to hear that they'll be translated into many more languages.
Just today I heard that Delirium will be out in Spain in March!
Here are the different covers for these books. Some are the official covers, while others are fan made. Take a look: which ones do you prefer?

So, which ones do you like? Personally, I like the American and Spanish BIF covers. At first, I was against the Spanish one, but it's grown on me.
And for Delirium, I like the American one. The UK one looks good, but the swirlies in the American cover are what I love. The birds you can see there, among the swirlies, are perfect, representing freedom, while the grey, Spanish one has barbed wire on it. It fits, I think, the grey and the barbed wire, but I like the message on the American one the best: freedom one the blue one against emprisonment on the grey one.
